THE BASICS

Farnham Beerex has been running for forty years in the same location, the Farnham Maltings. 2017 will be the 41st annual Beer Festival which is run by the three original groups that came together for the first festival: Lions Club of Farnham, CAMRA and Farnham Maltings.

The entire event is run by volunteers and 100% of the proceeds go to charity.

The dates for 2017 are 27th, 28th and 29th April 2017. On each of the three days there is an evening session that starts at 6.00pm and ends at 11.00pm. On the Saturday there is an additional lunchtime session that starts at 11am and ends at 3pm.

We have different live bands on each session, and the entry ticket entitles the holder to entry, the entertainment, a free commemorative glass and a free programme.

Beer is purchased by buying tokens that are then exchanged for any one of the beers, ciders or perries around three halls.  Typically there are about 60-70 different beers and ales, and about fifty barrels of cider and perry. Beer is substantially cheaper than  you will find in normal pubs in the area.
