Beerfest
- The 2010 Beerfest was held on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th September 2010. Following the previous year's highly successful event, this was the second joint venture between Farnham Lions and Alex Neil, proprietor of the Blue Bell at Dockenfield (above).
- The event raised £3000! A cheque for this amount was presented to us at our November Business Meeting by Alex Neil.

Beerfest at The Blue Bell, Dockenfield 9th/10th September 2011
A third and final Beerfest was held at the Blue Bell in Dockenfield on 9th/10th September in aid of Farnham Lions Charities. With 30 beers available and with some great ciders and wine to complement, the 2-day festival was always scheduled to be a success. With great music, food and children's entertainment the festival attracted several hundred merrymakers on the Friday evening with Saturday's session running from lunchtime.
This was the final event organised by the Lions in association with the two Alex Neills, senior and junior, who will be moving on to pastures new.
They leave with our grateful thanks for organising many club functions including organising the food and drink at this year's Carnival and several club dinners. Their support has included the donation of £5,000 from the three Beerfests.
