Questions and Answers

Here we offer answers to questions that we have already been asked that may help you plan or organise your visit to this event.

Can I buy a ticket on the day? Absolutely - as long as you realise that tickets and available space may well run out with bookings received already, so please arrive promptly or pre purchase your ticket to guarantee entry.

What time can I get in? The gates will be open to the event at 11am. Please do not arrive before this time. The facilities, museums and catering will not open until the official opening time of 12.00 midday.

I have a vintage car circa 1930, is this event for me? The show is not restricted to any age of car. We will welcome all cars of special interest, from Supercars to Vintage cars, from veteran cars to hypercars and everything in between. We have bookings already for many Morgans, Bentleys, Rolls Royces, an American Shelby Mustang, Aston Martin - its really shaping up to be a fantastic event.

Can I park where I like? No, we ask every member of a car club or organisation that wishes to park with fellow members to advise us of their membership and the name of the organisation when they order their ticket. We will then issue a ticket with this club displayed to allow access to the designated area. If no club is advised you will be directed to the main public parking area.

Can I bring my pets? No , simply we ask that owners do not bring their pets as the likelihood is it will be a warm day and they can therefore not be kept in cars. To allow them onto the site with the expected crowds is not viable. Please leave them safely at home or with friends.

Can I bring a picnic? Yes, however we will ask for a fee of 10 per head if you decide to picnic on site - all of which will go to to Help for Heroes. There will be a large range of food and drink suppliers this year, all of which offer great value meals to suit all tastes, and we would encourage you to use them and support Help for Heroes.

What should I do on the day if I loose touch with my friends or family? Please go to the Information point and we can make an annoucement for you to reunite you.

What should I do on the day if I loose my keys or other personal belongings? Please go to the Information point and we can make an announcement for you.

What facilities are available for the disabled visitor? We will provide a special parking area to minimise the amount of travel over grass or unlevel ground. There will be a disabled toilet available for use in the museum area. Please however be aware that the visiting car displays will be on a mown field area.
